Fredericksburg High School prepares for the 1973 74 term on August 28 with new air conditioning units including a 10 500 pound liquid chiller and a 200 ton basement compressor The building now houses 35 air conditioning and five air handling units in classrooms and the auditorium Twenty new units were added along with updated lockers in the hallways The A C L Air Conditioning Co of Austin supervised the final installations and checks with minor shipment damage delaying a few units and these will be installed with no interruption in classes after the first day
