The Frederick Town Herald is published every Saturday morning at two dollars per year, payable half yearly in advance, or if unpaid within the year two dollars and fifty cents will be charged. Subscriptions cannot be shorter than six months, and papers won’t be discontinued until all arrears are paid unless the editor allows. Advertisements up to a square run four times for one dollar, with twenty five cents for each further insertion. Communications by mail must be postpaid.

He says he would have remained a reluctant witness but was compelled to comment on political events and cabinet dissolution.
