Equity decree for sale of mortgaged premises in Frederick County

In Frederick county court sitting as a court of Equity Geronen Tenn 1839 Elizabeth Howard and Philemon M Smith sue Mary Hall James Mullikan Ann his wife James Torrance and Ann his wife and others. The object is a decree for sale of mortgaged property from Baruch Hall deceased. The bill notes mortgage execution and forfeiture, death of mortgagor, devisees and absentees Ann Mullikan and Ann Torrance residing out of Maryland. An order by December 9 1850 requires publication for three weeks in Frederick newspapers and notice to appear by April 15 next to answer the bill. True copy Test December 11 JOHN SCHLEY Clk.

Order ratifies Lilly estate sale by 170 acres at eight dollars

By Frederick county court sitting as a court of Chancery October Term 1830, an order confirms the sale of a part of the late Samuel Lilly’s real estate. Trustees Schley report 170 acres sold at eight dollars per acre, with notice required in Frederick newspapers for three weeks before January first, unless cause is shown. John Sculey, Clk.

Great Clay Meeting in New York Draws Crowd and Support
