Secretarial Stays 25 Years at Maryland School for the Deaf
Linda Stull began work July 15 1972 at the Maryland School for the Deaf in Frederick as a department secretary for middle and high schoolers. She learned sign language on the job, faced early communication hurdles, and stayed with the school through five decades, never seeking other work. Principal Kenneth Katz hired her for strong test scores and she valued the chance to walk to work and communicate with deaf staff, parents, and students.
