Journalism may be added soon at Franklin College
A one hour course titled Advanced Composition may be offered this semester by Prof. Morgan as a forerunner to a journalism course. It aims to train staff members and future The Franklin contributors and will be scheduled to fit student needs. The move follows earlier announcements of a short story and an editorial writing class for the 1920 1921 college year. President Goodell had considered a news writing and editing course but past funding issues from the Student Army Training Corps delayed action. The three men considered for the program are Indianapolis newspaper workers with broad newsroom experience.
