Nurses School Graduates Five Nurses at Angel Brothers Hospital
Five nurses graduated from the Nurses Training School of Angel Brothers Hospital at commencement in the First Baptist church. The graduates were Myrtle Dillard, Sylvaj Clyde Berry, Franklin, Dorothy Gribble, Flora Talley, and Katherine Wilson. Miss Dillard was absent. Dr. Edgar Angel presented diplomas, Miss Leona Rickman pinned the graduates. Judge Batt Smathers delivered the address, introduced by McEnley Edwards. The ceremony opened with prayer by Rev Eugene R. Eller. A reception dance followed at the Scott Griffin hotel gardens with music by Baldyzal and his Miamians. many couples from nearby towns attended.
