Bank Robbery Members Face Sentences In Jackson Case

Johnny Moore 20 of Franklin was sentenced to seven to 15 years in state prison after pleading guilty to bank robbery in Jackson County Superior Court. Ted West, also charged, faced a jury verdict after claiming Moore forced him at gunpoint to join the crime. The daylight robbery of the Jackson County Bank of Sylva on April 3 netted $853. West testified he was coerced. Moore allegedly acted alone.
