County Wide Revival Set to Start June 16 in Friendship Tabernacle
Plans for a county wide revival in Franklin are announced by Rev. G W Davis with services at Friendship Tabernacle beginning Monday evening June 16 at 8 o'clock and running through Sunday June 2. A noon theatre service at Macon Theatre will run Tuesday through Friday at 12 20 to 12 58 for business people. Rev E E Snow of Lowell will arrive Monday afternoon for a county pastors conference. A Greensboro quartet with one teacher will sing during the meetings alongside a joint church choir. A full list of committees covers finance publicity workers ushers decorations and platform management with names of many local ministers and residents. Ten Macon men will respond to the call for service with four volunteers and six draftees to report to Fort Browne. Local board notes no Macon men have been drafted yet.

Mrs Anderson Passes Friday in Arlington Community
Mrs Leta Sellers Anderson died Friday night after a six hour illness. Born January 16, 1876, she lived in Baker County and was a member of St. Anselm Episcopal Church. Funeral services were held at St. Aguas Church with interment at Francisco Memorial Cemetery. Surviving are her husband, five children including Hugh Anderson and Mrs. George Reid, and seven grandchildren. Brothers Joe Sellers and Wiley Sellers also survive.

Mrs V F Hood Killed In Wreck Near Franklin
Mrs V F Hood of Gainesville was killed instantly in a wreck on the Franklin Highlands highway about ten miles from Franklin. Her husband, severely injured, was treated at Angel Hospital as snow, fog and rain reduced visibility. Patrols reported the car left the road at a point without a guard rail, plunging about 10 feet to the river bank. Mrs Hood was thrown free and found 75 feet from the river. Mr Hood, injuries described as serious but improving, expected to be released in a few days.
