County Health Center under way on Riverview Street
The new county Health Center on Riverview Street is under construction. Angel Hospital Contractor builds a one story facility financed by the county and the Medical Care Commission. Estimated total cost near 29 161.25 with about 5 000 from the county and the rest by the commission. Dr Edgar Angel of Angel Hospital donated the land for the center and the health department currently occupies offices in the Ashear Building in Franklin.
