County education board votes to consolidate Burningtown and Oak Dale one room schools. Postmasters Attend National Association Meeting
Mrs Parrish and Mrs Potts returned to Highlands Saturday after attending the national convention of postmasters in Morehead City. Mr Potts said Macon County post masters were acclaimed one percent membership in the association. Blanche Parrish was elected fourth vice president of the state chapter and urged Macon County post masters to pledge support for her term. E W Renshaw attended a five day Forest Supervisors conference at Fontana with Region 8 supervisors.

Revival at Friendship Tabernacle Aiming for Busy Family Night
