Machinery Moving For Franklin to Georgia Highway Relocation
Wading Sayala reports the 675,897.80 dollar Franklin to the state line highway relocation project will begin this week. W. E. Graham and Sons, contractor, plans to move in equipment to grade and pave as a by pass to US 23 441. The project aims to relief motorists while construction proceeds and includes blasting and gravel work to connect county roads with the line near the Tennessee River. About 800,000 yards of dirt will be moved with structure work and right of way roughly half complete.
