Great College Inauguration Marks Hamilton Event
The York Institution on October 20 at Hamilton New York hosted a grand inauguration with alumni trustees from many universities attending. Morning prayers opened the day followed by a procession to the Baptist church for the main exercise featuring an invocation by Dr W M Lawrence and remarks from Dr Bryan and other college representatives. The program closed with a strong climax, highlighting the alma mater and the new leader. Oxford fears arise as Ohio Wesleyan debates glee club engagements. Scholarships worth 500 per year attract strong competition, with Elmer H Davis from Aurora Illinois representing Franklin. Results will be announced at Christmas.
