Freshman Safety Caps and New Mathematics Professor Arrive
Freshman safety caps become a campus tradition, marking students by department with top buttons. A. R. Mather, holding degrees from Franklin College and the University of Chicago, joins Williams and Vashti as professor of mathematics and manual training and head master of the Boys Dormitory. The Hanover college setting and the library laboratory space are praised, with gratitude to President Millis, trustees, and faculty.
