27 Seniors Given Degrees At 84th Commencement
Lieut August L Sundvall died leading a patrol in a night raid on a German trench. Corpl Walco Winchenhaugh Boston told Milwaukee Journal correspondent of Sundvall’s death and rescue, earning the Croix de Guerre for bravery. Sundvall, 1916, first Franklin man to fall in service, died after being wounded beneath enemy fire.

Four prominent men were elected to membership on the board of directors at the annual commencement week meeting in President Goodell's office. New members are Dr. Herbert S.
