Former Franklin Student Dies in Minnesota
The body of D. W. Harriott, former assistant cashier of the treasury, died Saturday in Rochester, Minnesota and will be brought to Washington for burial. He was born in Franklin, Indiana in 1851, came to Washington in 1875 as a clerk in the treasury and rose to assistant cashier before resigning last August to enter business in St. Louis. He is survived by a widow and several children. He attended Franklin College and graduated from Hanover.
