The bronze bust of Benjamin Franklin, placed in Stott Hall corridor, was donated to Franklin College about ten years ago by a former student. No donor record or gift date exists as receipts were not entered, but it is believed to have arrived during President E. A. Hanley’s administration. The bust, a fine bronze work, remains the college’s only artifact evoking its namesake. Previously it rested in Shirk Hall.
