Earlham adopts maroon and white for athletic colors
The Earlham Athletic Association voted to shift athletic colors to maroon and white for all sports, keeping yellow and white as official college colors outside athletics. The change is popular with students and alumni mixed, with some opposition from the girls. The move aims for better uniforms and is backed by Earlham fellows.
