Dr Wallace to resign Franklin College treasurer post
At a Tuesday meeting the Franklin College board accepted Dr Barnett Wallace’s request to retire as treasurer at year end under the Carnegie Foundation. Wallace has served since 1864 with a long career as a director and alumnus, noted for steady judgment and devotion to the college. The board postponed action on his successor until the June session.
