Prize Offered for Debates at Franklin College
The Franklin Star’s Eugene C. Pulliam offers a ten dollar prize for the best literary production by Franklin college students to be judged by President Goodell. A debate between Webster Literary Society and the Periclesian Society may crown the winner with a gold eagle, likely in the first half of next term. Ora Beerhower, ex 19, of Liberty Center, has gone to Canada for work and played on last year’s basketball team.
