Diet for Athletes in Training From Montague Sherman

An essay by Montague Sherman argues that training diets should resemble sensible healthy eating for highly active individuals. It emphasizes plain cooked meals with fruit and vegetables, recommends beef and poultry over pork, allows occasional veal, pork, and fish, and cautions against overfeeding and heavy pastries. It notes individual variation in digestion and stresses palatability and moderation for sustained training gains.

The Crimson Coronation farce with Wayne Merrill and Roy Holalein impressed with makeup and energy, under Arthur J Reriult and wife at the Metropolitan School of Music in Indianapolis.
