Route 45 widening and resurfacing planned south of 159th
Illinois IDOT includes a 2 million dollar project to widen and resurface Route 45 from 159th to 179th streets in the FY1978 road program. Gov. Voters Approve Joliet Junior College Tax Referendum
Voters approved the Joliet Junior College tax referendum by a three to one margin. The measure authorizes the board to shift tax rates from the bond and mortgage fund to operating funds including educational and building maintenance.
