Veteran Educator Madeline Weber to Retire from District 122
Madeline Weber, supervisor of instruction for New Lenox public schools, will retire effective June 15 after a 21 to 22 year career in education. She began as a teacher in Mokena District 159, joined New Lenox in 1964 as supervisor, and will depart after the board praised her service.

To Feature Male Voices at Lincoln Way Community High
The Lincoln Way Community High School auditorium hosts an 8 p.m. concert featuring the W Singing Knights with the Glenbard West 80-voice male chorus the Niles East high school boys ensemble and the Joliet Barbershop chorus. Each group performs a 15 minute set before the Barbershop chorus closes with The Battle Hymn of the Republic directed by Dick Johnson. Tickets at the door.
