Summit Hill school officials contemplate a June vote on a three part referendum to raise funds. Jacknifed Truck Hits Utility Pole at 191st Street and Route 45
A truck jackknifed on wet pavement and struck a utility pole at 191st street and Route 45 Monday morning. George Byrne, 23, of Oak Lawn, the driver, suffered injuries and was taken to South Suburban hospital. The vehicle, owned by a pipe company, skidded during the rain, police said.
