New World Award Given To Local Youth

David J. Friant of Troop No. 12 in New Lenox received the World Conservation award. The honor from World Wildlife Fund via the Boy Scouts of America recognizes conservation work and understanding of global resource interdependence. Friant earned conservation and environmental merit badges and related skills through the Rainbow council. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Carl V. Friant of 1216 North Cooper Road.

Disney Film at Mokena Library Park Al Fresco
