Pedal Power A Road Trip For Cancer Research Bicyclists Ride Across Country

Bob Reynolds of New Lenox and three companions cycle from Chicago toward New York to raise funds for cancer research. The team uses two bikes per rider and plans 162 miles daily with rest stops. donations go to the University of Chicago Cancer Research Foundation and local auto dealers. Mokena Man Dies In Crash

A Mokena man, Richard Atrill, 25, of 134 Lynn Parkway, died after his car ran off US 6 west of Marley Road, hit a highway sign and rolled over. State police say he likely fell asleep at the wheel. he was pronounced dead at the scene by a deputy coroner.
