Frankfort village board adopts curfew hours. 16 to 18 year olds barred from streets 11 p.m. to 5 a.m. Sunday through Friday and 12 a.m. to 5 a.m. on Fridays and Saturdays. Under 16 curfew 9:30 p.m. to 5 a.m. every night with exemptions for work or parental supervision. Violators face 25 to 500 dollars fines. Also discusses Borg-Warner sign at park district and Halloween hours set 3 to 6 p.m. October 31.
A public meeting on Frankfort's sewage treatment plant proposal and bond referendum will be held at 7 30 p m tonight at the village hall. The village engineer, village attorney and board members will explain details of the 4 6 million sewer proposal financed by federal and local funds. The officials seek a 600 000 bond referendum for the November 2 election to fund Frankfort's 1 1 million share, raising taxes nine cents per 100 of assessed valuation.
