Area residents including Jim Bouchard of Mokena worked on fans last week as temperatures climbed into the 80s paving the way for the Summer of 83 which officially starts in a little over a week.

Local residents lobby for stronger guarantees, urging an ordinance amendment to bind Joyce Cable to promised service levels and channel counts.
