The Lincoln Way area announces a summer track program from June 21 to July 28 for all ages. Practices every Monday and Wednesday with weekly meets on Tuesdays featuring jumps, sprints, and distance events, plus a pentathlon and participation in Carmel Classic and State Junior Olympics events. Second Mokena Road Runner Classic 8 000 meter race
The second annual Mokena Road Runner Classic will be held Saturday June 12 at 8 30 a m starting at the Mokena post office and ending at Willowcrest school. The five mile marked course includes water stations medical teams and a police escort. Registration 5 by June 11 6 day of race 7 8 a m. Lincoln-Way high school coaches host a summer soccer clinic for grade school students at the central campus fields.
