Providence softball pitchers Ellen Ryan and Cathy Yurkanin exchanged roles to beat Illiana Christian in a six run sixth inning rally after a 7-4 deficit. Ryan started Wednesday, Yurkanin held Illiana in the seventh, and Friday Ryan again worked late as Providence won 15-7. JoEl Delgado homered and drove in four. Jackie Hill added three RBIs on two hits. Bahnaman and Hibler went 4-for-5. Coach Stelter praised improving pitching and disciplined defense as Providence moved to 6-2 overall and 5-1 in league, with next at Chicago Christian in Palos Heights.
