Local grain market reports a range of prices at press time. White oats ranged from 34.4 to 45 cents per bushel, mixed oats from 30 to 32, yellow corn at 46 cents, mixed corn 46, wheat from 8 to 18 cents, rye per bushel 40 to 50 cents.
The Winamac school board is urged to rescind its order refusing transfers and admission to two colored sisters, Cora and Purdy Biggs, whose father is an American citizen. The piece argues against racial segregation, cites examples of integrated schools elsewhere, and calls for Board resignation if the policy remains.

Mr. D. P. Daugherty of Mercer and Sumner counties West Virginia almost died from diarrhoea. Two doctors gave little help until a neighbor brought Chamberlain's Colic Cholera and Diarrhoea Remedy, which cured him in under a day. For sale by City Drug Store.
