Henry Baker Brown president of Valparaiso University died Sunday night after years of declining health at age 69. Born in Knox County Ohio he founded Northern Indiana Normal College in 1873, which became Valparaiso College then the university. He guided the institution with strong business sense and was a familiar figure to Francesville students and teachers at institutes and commencements.
