Francesville scored seven runs to Remington’s five last Sunday as Elston pitched well for Francesville and Carl Oaken starred at second. Wheeler pitched for Remington and received solid support nowhere near Francesville’s offensive and defensive effort. The Birds showed depth with solid play at third, short, and first.
W C Myers, of this place, negotiated a deal at Albion Illinois to take over a stock of hardware, furniture and implements valued at 60000 dollars. The exchange was a 320 acre farm near Monon. His son Walter will head the operation and likely remain there.

C. C. Hunkler district salesman for Avery tractors spent days here with local rep John Springhorn south of town pushing sales. They were quite successful given conditions and times. Avery is known for dependable tractors of various sizes to meet any farm.
The survey shows the average countrywide gasoline price down to 20.3 cents per gallon. On January 1, 1921 the average was 22.6 cents, a fall of about 2 cents, signaling a sizable reduction for consumers and the national pocketbook.
