Balloon accident claims Henry Moore during ascent

Henry Moore aged 57 was killed at Monon on Tuesday afternoon while assisting in inflating a balloon inside near the furnace. He reportedly did not heed a warning to exit as the balloon began to rise and was caught in the ropes. It swung skyward then struck telephone wires about sixty feet up and dropped him to the ground where death was instantaneous.

Miss Wanda Dale Married in Momence After Grant Township Party

Miss Wanda Dale of Wellington Illinois wed Mr Walter Collins in Momence Illinois after attending a large party hosted by Miss Wagoner in Grant Township. About forty guests were entertained at the event with light refreshments and elaborate floral decor. The bride’s departure for the ceremony followed the social gathering.

Henry Rowe Killed by Train Near Chicago

Henry Rowe aged 56 a former Pulaski county citizen was killed Sunday near Chicago while working as a crossing watchman for the C C and L and Penn railroad gates. His body was brought to Winamac Tuesday for interment near Pulaski.
