Death of Mr Haymond Remains of Francesville Resident
Mr Haymond died at over 80 in the town cemetery east of the city. Born November 5, 1840 in Kendall County Illinois, he served in the Civil War from 1862 to 1865, was captured at Atlanta and held at Andersonville, and discharged in Washington. He married thrice and left a wife Eliza and children Mary Anna, Orie Monroe, Martha Ordel, and Etta Frances. He lived in Francesville since 1876 and was active in business and civic affairs. burial details follow.
