Knights of Pythias organize county baseball and horseshoe league
The Knights of Pythias lodges in the county form a summer league for baseball and horseshoe pitching. Three games of each kind are set in four towns with a August 15th picnic in Winamac to close. Each lodge fields one baseball and one horseshoe team. all players must be members. Games occur weekday afternoons before lodge meetings in Winamac, Star City, Medaryville, and Francesville with free admission and lunch sales. The 1922 schedule lists matches by town and date.

Road project bid saves $1840 after delay

Protest Builds Over Norway Tippecanoe Dam Plan

About twenty landowners will travel to Monticello for a White and Pulaski county circuit court hearing seeking an injunction to block the dam and its drainage impact. White county previously remonstrated against paying bridge and road costs tied to the project. The county board later rescinded that action citing long term tax burdens on the county.
