John M Hudgens died Saturday at 6 pm at his home after months of ill health and physical exhaustion. Born March 22 1864 in Thorntown Indiana he was 59. He leaves seven children Ray Curtis Mrs Sims Mrs Landis and Clyde Everett and Lee and one brother Henry. He was a Christian church member 36 years and affiliated with Masonic and Knights of Pythias. He managed Crabbs Reynolds Taylor Elevator Co before illness. later ran a grocery with his sons. Funeral Tuesday at home. Rev D L Dunkleberger officiated. burial east of town.
