Also note Maxine Miller two and a half daughter of Dr and Mrs N L Miller died of diphtheria at their North Illinois Street home after a week illness. anti toxin given but she died. Monon Man Killed By Threshing Engine
Auginet Ro Han of Monon was killed Thursday while acting as engineer on a threshing engine at the Alva Thom as farm two miles west of Monon. He backed the engine toward the separator and the machine crashed into it, crushing his body. He lived about thirty minutes before help arrived.
