William Lyon aged 30 son of Orpheon Lyon of Kouts drowned in the Kankakee river near Baum's bridge his body recovered from a deep hole west of the bridge. He was said to be mentally deranged and had asked his brother to file an affidavit for institutional commitment days earlier.
