Change in Telephone Rates at Winona Company

The Winona Telephone Company announces rate changes authorized by the state commission. Polasoid County Democrat reports commissioners bought a road clarifier to rip and regrade gravel and stone roads. The machine, hitched to a traction engine, tore up about a mile of road past the county farm, with new stone being laid atop the old. The rearifier costs about $800.
