Pioneer Club Observed Guest Day with Dinner and Games
On Wednesday evening the Pioneer Club gathered at the Engle home for guest day. A two course dinner was served to a long list of members and guests including Mesdames Jones Foster Mayhugh Hill Eldridge Myers Alkire Richardson Whitaker Burson Byrd Maxwell Myers Severns and Misses Jones Shumaker Petra Hubbard Shirtz Parker. Mrs Foster won the prize at progressive games. Also noted are entertainment plans and a dinner by Dr. and Mrs Byrd and an upcoming air show screening on July 4.

Auto Truck Burns on Road North of Buffalo
A truck owned and driven by Wil Hepp caught fire and burned completely on a public highway north of Luttaio Friday afternoon. Hepp, a resident of Pulaski County and part time resident of White County, was driving the empty vehicle in livestock traffic for Hogansport markets when the explosion occurred.
