Prohibition Officers Locate Stills in Burnettsville White County

Federal officers raided Burnettsville homes of Al Britton and George Andrews in White County near Monon. A twenty-gallon still, forty gallons of mash, and about half a gallon of moonshine whiskey were seized at Britton’s home. Andrews’s place yielded a thirty-gallon still and a small whiskey amount. mash barrels appeared unused. Monon saw no further discoveries.
