J L Beesley fell from a ladder while repairing a roof in the north part of town on Friday afternoon. He landed on his back and shoulders and suffered bruises and exposure. His wife was away and it took about thirty minutes for assistance. He is recovering slowly and will be unable to return downtown for several days.
