New Fertilizer Company Organized in Cincinnati
The L. W. Hubbell Fertilizer Company completed its organization in Cincinnati on December 21 by electing directors and officers for the year. The main office and plant are in Cincinnati, with a branch in Francesville. Incorporated under Indiana law, it will operate across Indiana Illinois and Ohio selling Hubbell fertilizer brands noted as the first properly balanced with maximum plant foods for black soils. L. W. Hubbell is president W. D. Huntington of Buffalo NY is vice president W H Fries of Cincinnati is secretary and F B Mitchell of Cincinnati is treasurer. An inspector from Crawfordsville found and corrected several scales in Francesville stores to meet standards.
