Death of Newman Mitchell at Francesville
Newman Mitchell died at his Francesville home on Tuesday morning from cancer resulting after a past minor explosion left facial injuries. He was 24, born near Medaryville, married Verna Rice three years ago, and left two children, his wife, two brothers and a sister. Funeral services were held at the residence with interment in Independence.
