Mrs Anna Hintz Schultz, 31, wife of John Schultz, died at her home near Chalmers after a six month illness from stomach cancer. She was daughter of Joseph Hintz of Beaver township and mother of two. Services were held at the German church east of town with burial in the cemetery nearby.

Brinley Brindley Convicted and Sentenced in Elkhart

Brindley formerly of Rensselaer and Francesville was convicted in Elkhart circuit court of grand larceny and sentenced to an intermediate term of one to four teen years in the Jeffersonville state reformatory.
