Voorhees and Sherman Clash in Indiana Debate

Tuesday after Loon Senator John Shearns of Obiarthwe Hea Day led a public discussion in Columbia City. The crowd of roughly four thousand heard Sherman defend his record and criticize the Democratic Party while Voorhees argued for reform, gold and silver currency, and restraint on war claims. A lengthy exchange followed ending with cheers for Voorhees and a large torchlight procession by Democrats.
