He died at about 3 a m after convulsions and a daybreak stupor. Landis is rearrested and Delieved to authorities. Burial planned for Clinton New York.

Wind drove flames east and north destroying fifty plus buildings including the Territorial Enterprise office and op era house. Water was scarce, depots and hoisting works burned, stock markets slid while insurers faced heavy losses and relief efforts began.
