Port Wayne Briefs Reflect Local Turbulence and Fires

The city faces water concerns and political sparring as public works lag and trust in officials grows. A Delphos saw mill accident left Andrew Mauhart with a likely fatal leg amputation, while a boiler incident near Tundogton caused two deaths. Legal and political maneuvers,包括 a northern penitentiary inquiry and railroad bill changes, mingle with local resignations, church calls, and a flood of death notices in a city plagued by sickness and rising costs.
