Janet and Ellis Walk Off From a Musician's Dream
Janet attends a winter salon where Henri Reaux, the city’s newest musical idol, courts her with dramatic charm. Ellis Field returns home, questions the match, and urges caution as Janet reconsiders love, art, and independence. After a candlelit crisis, Janet rejects Reaux and leaves with Ellis for a brisk walk into sunset.
