Walcott Denied Claim to Fort Wayne Real Estate

James W. Walcott of Maumee Ohio has no legitimate claim to Fort Wayne property. Abstractor George D. Crane notes Walcott’s claim arose after a visit to Maumee and a pledge to pursue a supposed title in Wells reserve known as Spy Run avenue district. Land office records show ceded land to Little Turtle, with no clear transfer to Walcott’s ancestors, leaving the matter to courts per Representative Sherwood. A separate note reports the Corydon Cold Storage Plant, recently sold for 6300 dollars, as a unique facility built over a cave near Corydon opposite the constitutional elm tree, using natural cold air to near freezing temperatures.
